    The Album "The Sicks" contains 6 songs. Unique, it's style is between Björk and Portishead. Majandra brings us into a dark world, profound and without concessions. The tunes are profound and surprising. Her melancholic voice accompanies us through this amazing voyage.

    Majandra entirely wrote and composed the songs of her album. Her cd is inside a digipack (case made of recycled card) which also contains an illustrated booklet of paintings painted by Majandra. This is a creation in which one feels the deep implication of this artist. It is also very originally presented. Majandra always writes the words of her songs first because she is attached to their poetic aspect. She then composes the tunes so that they bring out the words as best as possible. Very little people are so implicated in the creation of their songs. Majandra spent about one year and a half making this album with her two comrades Anthony and Art. This long time can be explained by the fact that while recording the album she was also playing in Roswell which meant she had very little time to spend on her passion. At first, the album was made for a label. But Majandra didn't appreciate how it was turning out, because the label wanted her to to something more "pop". So, she left them, because she refused to let them stifle her creativity. Anthony, Art, and Majandra continued working together and decided to everything on their own. So, they did so via Internet by creating a website. "In the end, there is six songs. It is almost a full CD. It's completely made by hand and by only us…no factory, none of that…just us and our sweat…" The type of music that Majandra produces is quite unclassifiable. As she herself says, the words of her songs may resemble each other but the words can totally change…

    The album was also edited into a collector's edition (limited). They have now all been sold… Above, the presentation of this collector's edition.
